Vinyl MotionScreens take retractable screening to the next level. Instead of mesh, these screens use clear vinyl windows (Sattler and Serge Ferrari materials with Fenestra clear panels) that block rain, wind, snow, and leaves while maintaining full visibility. When the weather turns cold, lower the vinyl screens and your patio stays warm and comfortable. When spring arrives, raise them and enjoy the breeze.
The real magic happens when you combine Vinyl MotionScreens with Solar MotionScreens. By staggering mounting brackets, we can install both systems on the same opening. Lower the solar screen in summer for shade and insect protection. Lower the vinyl screen in winter for warmth and weather protection. That's a true four-season patio — usable 365 days a year in Louisiana.
Blue Tide Exteriors is an authorized Universal Screens dealer. We custom-order your vinyl shades from their Plano, TX facility, then handle certified installation. The system uses the same heavy-gauge aluminum frames, zipper-track design, and Somfy motorization as our standard MotionScreens — just with vinyl panels instead of mesh.
